3 Jul 2008 - Super Sports Days

Both the sun and the children shone today for our annual sports days.

 

First up were the Infant classes, taking part in a variety of relay races in their house teams.

 

 

From the tricky 'rubber ring between the knees' race to the ever popular 'roll ball along the floor with your hand' challenge, the children gave their all.

 

 

But never let it be said that Christ Church parents aren't willing to show their athletic skills and stamina - as the morning concluded with a hard fought 'Fathers Race'!

 

 

Come the afternoon, the races were equally challenging with the house teams moving between a range of track and field events.

 

 

Just like the morning's event, the children were fantastic, cheering and supporting each other all the way.

 

 

Once again the event was concluded with the parents' race - the Dads being joined in an exciting Mums' race!

 

 

A huge well done to all the children who took part and especially to Mr charlesworth and Miss Matthias for organising both events.
