8 May 2008 - Christ Church Cross-Country Team Compete

Congratulations to the Christ Church Cross Country Team who competed in their first competition today against 5 other local schools.

In the newly created 'Hanham Primary School's Cross-country Series' - created by us here at Christ Church for the local schools - our team did brilliantly, with William securing Second in the boys race and Chloe 6th in the girls.

As this is a team event, everyone's effort mattered - William, Ben, Callum & Thomas making up the boys team and Vicky, Chloe, Faye and Abi the girls.

As this was a home fixture, I would also like to thank the rest of the Cross-country club who marshalled the event extremely professionally. 

Next comes the Longwell Green Leg, before the final at Beacon Rise in June!
