19 Mar 2008 - Christ Church Quiz team the best in town!

Christ Church were celebrating today after winning a city-wide inter-school General Knowledge Quiz.

The school team, who have been coached during a lunchtime club by Mrs Coady, took on 11 other schools in the regional competition at Mangotsfield Primary School. In the end it came down to the last question and some clever team tactics to snatch first place from the leaders, Emerson's Green Primary School.

Our victorious team were rewarded with a medal and certificate as well as a plaque for the entrance hall.

A huge well done to Mrs Coady and the team, who will now progress to the South West final, pitting their knowledge against the best in the West! Just as well we know the best in the west is us.
